The Collective


Part of Dance City’s offering is higher education, and as part of their MA course students are given the opportunity of experiencing what it’s like to be part of a touring dance company.

The Collective is the name of the company that Dance City tours to give their students that valuable experience before they graduate, and as such needs to operate like any other touring company. It had its own name and needed a brand to go with it.

I created a logo, branding and a set of brand patterns to be used on all marketing materials. The look had to be very distinct from any of Dance City’s brand in order for it to stand alone. My solution was something that is fluid and adaptable as well as recognisable in the milieu of other similar organisations.
